The Inner Child

I am my inner reflection

It needs my utmost affection

I was born with a wound

Yes I was unwanted in the womb

I heard the sounds of a fight

It should be a boy this time

I cried and prayed to God

He consoled with a blissful nod

I agreed to the plan of my soul

I indeed had a powerful role

I surrendered to the God 

I came to the dark abode

A girl has been born

The nurse said

Their faces flushed

And Slowly they hushed

She will be a burden on us

The father said 

Throwing her on the bed

The father went ahead

My soul felt a void

I too need love

said, My inner child

Worry not, O dear

The soul decides

Let us create an illusion

Waiting for a rescue

The days would pass by

But there was no cue

People came and go

Some mistreated 

Some disrespected

Nobody came to save

Life became a dark cave

I looked and looked wide

There was no one by my side

The dark nights came 

I howled with a shame

Dark nights end

The dawn arrives

I saw a light 

Showing me the might

I ran towards the light

Sometimes I resisted

Recognize yourself 

The divine father insisted

You are your saviour

I am with you 

Remember the plan 

I had recited you

Heal yourself from the wounds

Create a new story

Forgive others and yourself

Discover a new victory

Your impressions of past times 

led you here, O child

This is the time to undo 

Start with much ado

Your soul and I planned it

Lessons are necessary

Empower yourself

Stand up and show bravery

I will send the spirit guides

They will guide you

Follow them and tread

Its time to leave the shed

You will face rains

You might face sunshine

Remember I am with you

It is time to redesign

You are a spiritual warrior

Indeed you are a Starseed

Call your inner child

Its time to heal

Console her and embrace her

She is your ultimate home

Once you find her

Keep her in a safer dome

You will rediscover yourself

To help others' awaken

Wounds start in childhood

Let them show the truth

You are born to break the patterns

That your generation carried

It is time to take your baggage

And undone the inner garbage

The light will shine upon you

Crumble the old self

It's time to pave the way

To start something new

Ancestors are showering blessings

Bloodline will give the support

What they could not do

It's time to show them
