The Hour
The Hour

An hour for coffee,
Late at night.
Some unwelcomed speeches,
And pitch dark skies.
An hour for tea,
Early in the day.
Some ungrateful 'thank-you's,
And fake smiles that line the way.
Blooming of the flowers,
Mid in the day.
Some undesirable efforts,
In the bright space of the happy and gay.
Ends the day; on the bed
At twilight,
The cycle will repeat itself again,
At the hour of midnight.
