Long live the kitten

Who often visited our house

We gave it fish and milk

But it barely ran after the mouse

With every passing day,

We developed a fondness

And pampered it with utmost carelessness

As it grew older,

It became stout

Mostly seen in the banks of the river,

Hunting for the trout

Now a days it rarely visits our house

And has started living happily with a sweet little mouse
