The gusty winds

Walking on the dessert of misunderstanding,

I thought a text might help,

The text which has the compassion of yours,

The passion of mine,

Which I thought to resurrect the human in you,

So I took the courage,

Feeling it as an oasis,

I texted you the usual way,

By saying I love you,

It happened a long time back,

And it made me submit to the predators,

Who tore down my skin of dignity,

With their words and looks, 

I am not going to repeat it,

I learnt it the hard way,

When life is temporary,

Why should I have to follow you every time,

When the gusty winds slapped me,

And throwing the sand in my mouth.
