The Glass of Reflection
The Glass of Reflection
In the clink of glass, the world feels light,
A swirl of amber, glowing bright.
Each sip a memory, soft and clear,
Of laughter, love, and fleeting fear.
A toast to moments, old and new,
The warmth within, the skies so blue.
But as the glass empties, the truth appears,
The drink dulls thoughts, but sharpens years.
So let it flow, then put it down,
For wisdom comes when we unmask the crown.
In every drop, there's joy and strife,
A fleeting escape from the weight of life.
