The Girl I Met At The Coffee Shop
The Girl I Met At The Coffee Shop
Countless times I've walked along that corner,
For the girl I met in the back of the coffee shop,
The tangling hairs of her reminds me of the tangled clouds,
The glint in her eyes washed away all my sorrows.
Over the rims of my glasses,
I see the rims of her eyes,
Her face blooms like a sunny morning,
I rested my elbows to watch her smile, talking and reading books.
She ordered a Mocha and some pastries,
I ordered iced tea with some cookies,
She sipped the coffee letting her sorrows get engulfed,
She flipped the pages of the books, I looked at the dimples of her cheeks.
She was sitting for long hours,
I supped up many mugs of cappuccinos,
Sun sets beyond the walls of this small box,
The coffee tinged ambience fades away.
I seek for the girl everywhere of this box,
Tears flows down my masculine cheeks,
I sat down before the crossroads,
My heart pounded, the shop shuts down .
