The Fox
The Fox
As the slight breeze passed by,
In the bushes was a fox who was sly.
The villagers hadn't known,
They'd face this upcoming.
So they set off to the chief,
Who had time very brief?
The man was sad.
As he knew this was bad.
The chief had no clue,
Of what to do.
As the fox was very naughty,
As well as very haughty.
They wanted to hunt but instead,
They were full of dread.
They didn't want their animals any harm,
So they pulled them off the farm.
Everyone was talking about the unexpected fate,
When the chief said `let's make a bait.'
Everybody agreed,
As the fox appeared with a lead.
They attacked many people,
And the chief grew feeble.
They finally hunted the fox,
And they saved the ox.
