"The final echo"
"The final echo"
We were standing on the pavement ,
A Pavement which we never noticed,
Because we were always too eager for the joy and noise inside.
Always in a rush to explore the wonders it had,
Stories Inside those buildings attracted us more than the infrastructure.
But today we noticed it,
Dressed in traditionals with efforts.
We noticed how the building looked ,
How the color of the walls had faded,
As if it had taken our tears in all these years.
How small the ground looked that day,
As if all these years were being replayed in those moments,
We were capturing memories ,hoping that they won't fade with time.
Looking at each other made us realise we weren't kids anymore,
The class that was always so far was about to end in a blink.
The journey that started from nervous hearts and teary eyes,
Had came down to cheerful soul and confident mind.
We were not those little kids anymore who were afraid of scoldings.
We were teenagers who knew that those scoldings were lessons in disguise,
We had become people who were scared but brave enough to face it all.
As the day winded ,
The clock started ticking
Reminding us that are most beautiful and unexpected whirlwind was over,
Though we wanted to stay a bit more,
Look at those walls a little more ,
But it was all over ,
The gaits were closed,
Those classroom windows were looking at us with a proud smile
Those walls were letting us go for the better,
The pavement was giving us strength for the new chapter of our life
And the farewell was over....
