The Crow
The Crow
She was after a long twig
I could not fathom quick
I only saw her going up and down
Carrying the same twig with calm
The twig was long and slender
But it was not so tender
It was difficult to put through branches
She was trying to give it the right arches
It was not easy to build the nest
It proved to be a major test
She wanted it to be the best
A place for her kids to rest
Everytime she tried to meander the twig
It fell through holes that were big
Each time the twig went down
Immediately the crow went along
This went on for a while now
I got hooked somehow
The crow ploughed courageously
The twig fell continuously
At last, the crow succeeded
The twig was where she wanted
Tenacity, I remembered
Could I achieve her standard?
