The city has been burned down

The city 

has been burned down

within a moment.

The ashes have piled up

To damp the pale moon of late night.

The citizens 

are sitting together at a place

and will sit like that

through out the night

till sunrise.

They haven't known

with which vexation

the city has been burned down.

Citizens are sitting in fear

with pale and colourless faces .
