The Bigger Picture!

The Bigger Picture!

Ah! These roads are so crooked and confusing;

Why cant they be one straight line!

Trees sprout out from nowhere...

And then, there is neck achingly high constructions...

What could be more disorganised than a developing city?

A journey on a plane evokes the child in me...

As I sit by the window staring out in glee...

Stare do I at the ant like structures...

Of gigantic buildings on the earth beneath me!

Neatly arranged as though a dollhouse,

Trees and mountains create a backdrop,

For a baffling symmetry of tiny erections,

As roads and rivulets cut out long designs;

Marvels of architecture by God and man...

Seem to blend in as per plan!

A city is a compact unit and so are we!

Let's not dwell in little throbs only to miss out on the BIGGER PICTURE!!
