That Night
That Night
Summary of that night,
A moment that she felt blurred in that dark light,
For which from many years there was a fight,
In between her soul and heart that they will someday again reunite;
Those wet eyes full of tears,
Which once were shed in prayers,
Now were barely supporting her to cross the stairs,
Sending her again the worst nightmares;
That floor where she stood alone,
Thinking that she will again stand on her own,
And will make her as hard as stone,
So that the known ones will see her as unknown;
Looking towards that sky,
Dreaming that again she will fly,
An ocean of tears in her eye,
Broken into pieces that she will again retry;
Those stars and moon if would have a tongue,
They will someday surely try to say him what remained unsung,
In his absence how her girl cried who was so young,
And will reveal to him how his words left her broken and gave her pain just like a bee's stung.
