I can’t help feeling anxious as I stare at my ceiling in complete silence.

I desperately wait for the morning daylight

As these random thoughts stir up some old memories.

When the darkness looms over my room,

It reminds me of the days I endured.

I was living in darkness until the day I found you.

I try to sleep, you come right in.

Whenever I think of you, I feel a cool sudden breeze.

It gently touches and comforts me.

Did the universe really conspire?

You are the lighthouse that I trust upon,

To dock my ship of life.

You are the inspiration that I need,

To smile and hope after a long hard day

There’re so many things that I need you to know and I can't wait to tell you.

You’ll inherit the love that I feel deep inside.

I will thank every star in the sky

For the joy that I'll feel when I meet you
