       Thank you, teachers! 

I went to school sometime ago and this is what I learnt--

The immediacy and importance of "Now"

About Nature's wonders that made me go "Wow!"

I learnt that prejudices can be broken down,

I learnt to sing, dance and clown around.

Fresh perspectives, new expressions,

Childish curiosity and amaze--

That stripped the cataracts from my world-weary gaze;

They taught me so much- every one and each

Of the five-year olds that I'd gone to teach!
