Tenebrosity
Tenebrosity
I am the darkest
And the deepest.
Let me tell you folks
I shine dark,
I unfurl the murk,
I don't appeal your eyes,
I don't have curly golden hair,
I don't have a sensual figure.
I am that color of the eye
Which you will like to see;
But you'll loathe in real.
I owe my serene eye to thee the darkness.
I inculpate my shame on your eyes, dear folks.
I am flawed and I am proud of that.
I often look grave -
Is that what you say?
Then you are right enough.
You've made the beaut black ugly -
the mien of death!
That death which emulates you and me.
Still,
Thy eyes on me wondering my uncertainty.
Alas! Pathetic is thy life
Living in a mere illusion.
I still say I am black
I am dark,
I radiate darkness
Lighten up yourselves -
If you can, without me the darkness!
