Teacher- The best we can get

Have we ever wondered,

What makes her tick,

Like a clockwork?

What makes her smile,

Even in hardships elsewhere?

We never remember the person,

Who taught us Tenses an Verbs,

Who taught us Trigonometry,

And Geometry.

But we all remember,

The names we gave her,

In our 8th and 10th.

She might have many names,

She might be most difficult,

She might be a bit boring,

And a lot scolding.

But when her children score well,

She shows her pride as well,

And when her kids just remember her once,

She blesses them a hundred fold.

So can we atleast thank Her once,

For all She has done,

For creating a human out of clay,

For being there every day

For being a parent 8 hours a day,

Of the 16 hours of our waking day.

Let us Thank Her for being there,

All the way,

This is a gratitude to all the Teachers

Everywhere and everyday.
