Teacher's Life - A Roller Coaster Ride!!

A teacher's diary

Presenting a glimpse into a teacher’s life- my life,

Well! It is no less than being on a roller coaster ride.

Classrooms- always full of laughter and sound,

Everywhere bright and lovely faces to be found.

School premises- crowded with teachers and children,

Studying, playing, dancing and having loads of fun.

Loaded with assignments, the whiteboards aren’t white anymore;

Huge piles of notebooks and new assignments always in store!

This has been my life and ‘will’ remain so forever;

I love this adventurous ride and don’t want to part with it ever.

And after all, who could ever take it away from me?

This is how the schools have been and would always be!!!!

(sigh)Yes!!! How quickly this ‘normal’ just vanished away!

We were left speechless with nothing to say.

A new session started, but the schools remained closed.

Classrooms were empty as many restrictions were imposed.

We seemed totally lost as if our identity was taken away.

Was it due to our own deeds that such a heavy price we had to pay?

Did it mean the end of everything? No social contact! No interacting!

No!! We came up with innovative ways of connecting.

We went beyond the so-called normal and thought out of the box.

To make our little gems smile, we decided to pull up our socks.

Platforms like Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Google Meet.

Just a few ways to bring back the laughter so sweet!!

This pandemic taught us to live happily, cherishing simple pleasures of life.

Accepting the challenges, not just trying to live, but to CELEBRATE LIFE!!!!

Sailing ahead strongly, amid the wavy and strong tide,

My life is back on my cherished roller coaster ride!!!!
