In the world's eclectic encounters,
This one to that one,
The whole caboodle leaves a lesson.
You know I've been in a time
Where I used to flee to the far-flung,
And the stories were a different one then.
Between the easy yesterdays,
And the complex today,
The glimmering I could see was all, of myself.
Between the felicitous fantasies,
And the wistful verities,
The cognizance I could get was all of humanity.
You know I've been in a time
Where I used to hobnob,
And the shenanigans we had, is a stirring memory now.
In the world's continuous contorts,
This one made me stash myself in my home,
Or else the taboo would go on, never letting me see the other one!
