In the still of the night,

Memories come alive.

In the quiet of the night...

Deafening silence

Is the only noise.

In this pitch dark,

Loneliness is the only choice.

It's seriously funny,

And I'm clearly confused...

Am I alone together

With the memories? Or...

The gone by times

Are old news.

My heart I find missing,

Am I living or dead?

I know these are sweet sorrows of life,

But dead memories do come alive.
