Stay

For a story, with a beginning

But no end.

Probably a dream

And definitely incomplete

For I only wrote, what I felt.

I don’t like it when people leave.

I hate the full stops and the commas

Anything that breaks me.

You say

We can’t have a sunrise without the sunset.

I couldn’t agree more.

But this feeling

That stays at a place

Where you should have been.

Doesn’t feel good.

My mind

Sometimes feels like an endless tunnel

With these thoughts trapped in it.

The further they go

Darker they become.

So if you come next time,

Don’t wake me up

For someday

I might turn around,

So just be there

That tiny dot of light

At the end of this tunnel.



Pull me out of it

Make this dream complete

By telling me yours.

Don’t leave this time

Just stay.
