Sprinkle Toxins

Sprinkle Toxins

Oftentimes, the ones who urge you to fly

are the ones having a hold of your wings.

They will give you a hand when you're drowning

but make no effort to pull you out of the water.

Some people can have faces more than one,

some people can pretend to be a dream

though all they are is a nightmare.

To love them is never a sin,

not until you start loving them so hard

that you forget to care about and love yourself.

You have a sky ahead waiting to be explored;

a world you wouldn't be able to step foot in

if you let them have you in their clutches.

Some people hinder you from growing

into a most gorgeous flower of all time;

they will pretend to rain water on you

when all they do is sprinkle toxins.
