Solace - Comfort In Distress
Solace - Comfort In Distress
Wisdom has left its birthplace,
Since long, I have been crying for solace.
I find it in solitude;
Closeness nearby, find me a fool.
Is brooding in solitude before the
Omnipresent One,
Really deserving comments rude?
A word of mouth heard from elders a number of times;
The more you share your grief with others,
The happier you get, solace gently kissing your life.
Is what still partially held in life?
One formula remains unchanged since the initiation of human time
Most are happy to hear other's problems;
While a few remain indifferent, least concerned about other's cries.
How many would you discover then;
Genuinely, who are able to provide you solace in your hard times?
Temples, Mosques, and Churches are all present within hearts
Still the quest for God remains outside in the globe cut apart.
Why do people run across distant lands and rivers;
Is it not the same Omnipresent One living within our hearts!
