She
She
Everywhere melancholy,
Darkness lit itself,
Freezing breeze started flowing in bloods,
And the alluring song has stopped.
Hassle was on the way,
When there was no ray,
The green leaves turned brown,
And the king of sorrow got the crown.
A yellow light was approaching,
At some distance, it was clear that-
She was coming.
Lantern was there in her little hands,
And some rays of hope in the sands.
She took out a phoenix feather,
From her pocket
She gazed ahead,
Holding her locket.
She picked that feather,
Opened the lantern
Threw that feather into,
the lantern.
It burnt and everything
changed with a grunt.
Suddenly she was lost,
Mixing with sand and dust.
She sacrificed her beauty,
For the welfare of her society.
Her sacrifice would always be remembered,
As the misfortune gone and
Bliss rediscovered.
