Shades Of Life

Life is so unpredictable,

Sometimes beautiful, sometimes painful.

We always wish to be happy and

Spread happiness to all,

But sometimes it backlashes

With a very bad fall,

Yet we get up with a smiling face, wiping the tears and say to ourself,

'Oh, that's fine. I'm brave and strong,

I'm ready for another fall,' 'cos

Life is unpredictable, sometimes beautiful, sometimes painful.

A smile is the cheapest medicine to heal,

So I keep smiling and have a great feel,

I made my day and yours too.

But sometimes it's a big deal; 

As I too am hurt just like you.

I too need that healing smile,

Why? I'm a human just like you.

At times you are with your loved ones,

Filled with echoes of laughter, and joy;

Yet you feel some void and want to cry.

You still miss someone in your life

Who loved you unconditionally;

Gave you all their life's joy, 

Only to see you happy and never cry.
