Role of a teacher

A young person came to me,

Who asked: “Do you remember me?”

As I could not remember, said no,

And I asked him How do you do?

What he is doing in his life?

He was my student, he told me,

And Well, I became a judge"

"In fact, I became a judge,

Because you inspired me.”

Curiously, I asked him,

Why did he decide to become such 

And at what time?

The young man said,

One day, a friend of mine,

Came to with a mind, fine.

He was a judge and argued,

That a criminal can not be reformed.

Then I gave my answer with a declaration,

To correct anyone, no humiliation,

Is necessary, but an inspiration,

With such inspiration, 

If a judge doesn't know how to observe,

Watch, and then to decide a case,

He fails to catch the essence of justice.

He said that I didn't tell much,

And that day changed his life,

He decided to become a judge, 

Though I never said anything, 

Nor did I pursue giving moral lessons,

Giving only the value of justice, a message one.

I am thankful for becoming a teacher,

This could be what needs a real educator.

I always in my life remember,

The essence of teaching and the role of a teacher.
