Renunciation Of Desires

Renunciation Of Desires

Renunciation of desires, giving up the results of desires,

Are not so easy as one thinks, millions and millions of years pass, the state of Brahma, the supreme soul to attain,

Once we renounce our desires nothing we gain,

In the purgatorial pyre, all earthly passions burn,

Giving up the desires, results or fruits of actions,

Is not the way of salvation, moksha to attain.

How could Gopis be bound with love,

Lord Krishna was attached by their earthly love,

And fulfilled their desires, pouring more and more his love, never-ending love,

Could he not fulfill their thirst,

Showing his ‘brahmam rupam’ the supreme abode, passion for spiritual love
