Reminiscences Of a Mother
Reminiscences Of a Mother
It was just a desire a year ago
When he looked into her eyes, and,
Found the confirmation of his own desire;
Dancing to the music of their love.
Filled with the understanding, he took her
In his arms in the silent beauty of the night.
Mingling into one of their sweat and blood.
The waiting, the pining, nine months of
Pain, pleasure, solitude, and happiness.
She looks at her partner,sharing
Joyful moments of fatherhood.
A Quail sat on her heart,
Singing the song of motherhood.
The final painful minutes of conception,
The first cry of life, the sweetest sound
Of her life. Now as she watches her child;
She slowly lifts him and lingeringly kisses;
The milk scented breath, of the tiny pulsating
life, and fondly reminiscencesThe sweetest period of her life.
