Ray Of Hope

At times, life's bleak, misty, grey,

there's emptiness, darkness, everywhere,

when nothing really seems, to work your way,

time stands still, all seems unfair,

hold onto hope, never give in to despair,

this ray of hope, your guiding light,

through, deepest, darkest, uncertain moments,

difficulties, disasters, big troubles,

will all be left behind, in the rubble,

hope, strengthens the core, motivates the soul,

to keep going slowly and steadily, braving all odds,

shields against, debilitating bouts of self doubt,

gives wings to imagination, dreams, thoughts,

would this life, ever be worthwhile,

without the ray of hope for a better future, in sight.
