Rains And Tears
Rains And Tears
“Into each life, some rain must fall”
At least once in a while
Plenty has fallen in mine
But now it’s been a while
The showers have shied away
The soul longs to dance in the rain
A good soul says this drought is with reason
To make me gain
The clouds are away, conspiring
To bring a deluge my way
I await the rainbow now
Into my life, the rain should soon fall, someday
“Into each heart, some tears must fall”
Rarely have I let them fall into mine
Trapped by my eyelids
They just give my eyes a little shine
When the next shower comes
I’ll let them out completely
My heart’ll get drenched
With tears of joy than of melancholy
None has seen my tears yet
None will see them when they fall
Coz they’ll become one with the rain!
Into my heart, though, they’ll still fall
