PROMPT – 10: CONQUERING THE INNER DEMON

In realms of old, a demon's might did rise,

Hiranyaksha, terror in his fiery eyes.

He plunged the earth, cast chaos far and wide,

The three worlds trembled; his tyranny defied.

Yet in that darkness, hope emerged anew,

Varaha, Vishnu's form, mighty and true.

With purpose firm, he donned his sacred role,

To vanquish evil and restore the world's soul.

In modern times, a parallel we find,

Within ourselves, a demon lies confined.

A lurking shadow, our inner strife,

The Hiranyaksha within, the battle for life.

For deep within, our demons may reside,

Fury, envy, arrogance, they may hide.

Unchecked, they sow discord and despair,

Consuming our souls, leaving naught but a snare.

In hearts and minds, their influence spreads,

Corroding compassion, replacing love with dread.

They whisper temptation, clouding our sight,

Leading us astray from what is truly right.

But heed the tale of ancient lore,

Where demon met defeat, forevermore.

It teaches us a lesson, profound and clear,

That we must conquer our inner fear.

To overcome our demons, we must strive,

Find strength within, and let compassion thrive.

For in unity and love, we shall find,

The power to transcend, the darkness behind.

Awaken the Varaha within your soul,

Embrace virtue, let your spirit unfold.

With humility and wisdom, forge your way,

And banish the demons, day by day.

For if we succumb to our inner plight,

The consequences loom, a dreadful sight.

But in the battle, remember this truth,

Demons may wreak havoc, but they always lose.

So rise, brave souls, with courage untamed,

Let the light of love be forever proclaimed.

Banish the Hiranyaksha deep inside,

And forge a world where peace and harmony abide.
