Pretty Poison

Pretty Poison

The serene light of amber porcelain moon,

Dissected by cloak of eternal eclipse falling upon,

Beyond the heart of darkness.

Wicked and mysterious night befalling

On the cremated darling soul,

Sulking down her dead dreams in velvet heaven,

She let him root in her rhymeless verses.

Smitten by his saccharine words,

Bewitched by his finely sweet promises,

And the warmest embrace regardless of the warnings of the fate.

She bottled her patience fluttering around until she learned to free the reasons that caused her heart to pain and eyes to cry,

Wetting pillows after pillows and night after night puts commas and full stops because her heart knows there is no end of this suffocation,

Her lips seem like trash for it has stains of his cigars.

A terrible ache her body feels trapped in the night he poisoned and left away,

Perhaps some magic saves her life and help her see things she ignored,

Peeled part of her skin beams in gleam and the first petrichor dew of autumn soothes the burning sensation.

Falling night pictured her monopoly she planned silently,

Mystic morning saw a new love story reborn from blue tears and intricately being weaved on scattered leaves,

The dead tombs chants for his forever damnation.

There's no more escape until her quench for revenge satiates,

Dark apparitions hold me, I knew I wasn't alone,

Facade of memories deprive of a warmly touch on mandarin sunsets.

Hushing wings and glowing fireflies has been her constant every night till she made him kissed his death.

A year passed within boundaries,

Barely recall the outer world.

Seasons bloomed and shredded,

Emotions pattered to execute an innocent sin that tried to kill a beautiful heart,

Rotten red roses deodorize laying in an intangible coffin.

Plethora of broken muses recites a soul enchanting song,

His attractions for women became my dagger,

His blood turned blue and drank in the depth of the intangible coffin.
