PIHU ON HER FIRST FLIGHT

Though tossed high into air by the safest hands on earth before 

All these flights happened indoors

Now into open air 

Pihu witnessed the bright sunrays for the first time 

A breeze so fresh and fragrant like her beautiful smile 

She began to see into other people's eyes 

Every thing around her is new she watched with an awe

Moving her tiny hands and legs 

Not leaving her trade mark smile

The arc lights, camera flashes 

Strangers extending their hands in an invite

Which she refused each and every time

Who will leave the assuring warmth of a mother neither you nor I
