Pervasive Reversal
Pervasive Reversal
All along we were in a hurry,
Never a moment to tarry
And look at all the worry
Of our Good Earth so merry.
She gave us all to her fullest.
The tiniest and the largest,
Withdrew from her with zest;
Never according to her any rest.
She warned man many a time
With her floods, quakes, all in a line.
But he reasoned that all was fine;
For after every rain the sun will shine.
And then came the virus murmuring,
All over the earth battering,
Never a second thought giving
On all the people and gathering.
The System swung into action,
Breaking the chain with a lotion
Of the virus creating a confusion'
Among the people of every nation.
The old and the young all retreated
Into the buildings they created;
To stay away from being affected,
At home safely disinfected.
The earth came to life now.
Ever ready to sow
Her gifts for the man in a row,
For all the high and the low.
Animals moved into man's land,
Rivers flowed with visible sand,
Fires no longer burnt on land,
As man no longer had a hand.
Hope, now men no longer dare
To pollute the earth so rare:
The clear and pure air,
That takes his care.
The virus has made the man realize
That he is too tiny in size
To determine the power and space
On the earth for all human race.,
