Peekaboo

The line between family and friendship blurs at times.

Family can hurt;

Friends can heal.

A Family becomes a friend;

A Friend becomes family.

I search for friendship within my family,

When it seems that I have faltered in some unknown path with my friends.

I rush unconditionally to my friends,

When a trusted family member wounds.

Juggling between lines of love, justice and hope,

I wander around aimlessly in my mind;

Even as destiny does 'Peekaboo' with my emotions!
