What is peace?

Peace is what is in the dead

Peace is what helps us feel our breath

Peace is what we feel when we see the stars shine

Peace is what helps us see the world so fine

Gods home is full of it

He tries his best to shower it

Is there peace in our hearts today

What we read today is not just a fact

It is the loss of a life that was once intact

To take the life of gods own

Is this how our gratitude is shown

To take the life of our own kin

Is this the world we want to live in

What should we do to make the world a better place

It is just a show of kindness here and there

Not to judge anyone by their status or face

But to treat everyone equal and fair

Remember gods words forever

He said' love thy neighbour'

What would be a world of peace

Where the heart would be free of hatred and anger

And foes become friends in need

When everyone works together

And not for their own selfish greed

Only then will we have paid God's fees

And lived in a world of peace
