Unfettered 

Unrestrained 

Commenced like

A mountain stream 

Picking up speed, so full

Of energy, high spirits, innocence

Laughing with abandon in absence

Of any burden to carry, being oneself

Past stretch flowed with dignity & grace 

Before big dams of resistance were placed

Uninvited

Tributaries 

Joined midstream

Carrying rocks,& silt

Confusion confounded

How and when did it happen

Being sucked in by whirlpools

Struggling to maintain sanity levels

Muddied, under present circumstances 

Hearts full of hope this too shall pass soon

Emerging 

Experienced 

Gratitude in hearts 

Having lived through it

A world more resilient to

Face adversities, as and when 

Arrive without warning at doorsteps 

A world united flowing down to meet

Open seas where waters mix together

In the five oceans, for all one destination
