Our Discrete Universe

We are connected yet so far, 

I wonder why we are at war.

I can never let you come so close,

Cause the last time my heart almost froze.

We are just like the sun and moon,

You may not realise my sacrifices soon.

But here I am, burning for your sake,

How could you be so fake.

The moon and stars are always blended together in this enormous sky,

While my love for you shall never die.

Me being the sun,

Will always wish for the moon and stars to stick together like you and her.

We may have never been meant to be together,

But we shall always glow in our discrete universe forever.
