Orchid Blooms
Orchid Blooms
Oh the lovely Orchid blooms,
Satin white, soft streaks of violet hue,
Blooming in the twilight,
On a lovely moonlit night
A curious bat dashed by
In the thick of entwining creepers,
A lonely bee strayed by
Lingering on the fragrant flowers.
Lissome bamboos swaying in the breeze,
Dancing to the tune of eerie creaky noises in the dusk.
Few dark clouds hurrying past in the skies,
On many an urgent errand.
The wind whispered in my ears
An ancient lore of forgotten times
As I sat lost in natures mystique.
Time flew by as only time can fly,
I lost track of the world and its deeds,
A wasp came and stung me,
Woke me up from my stupor,
Oh to dream another day
And float in the land of dreams
Among those lovely Orchid blooms.
