Optical
Optical
He had a superimposable mirror image,
He never realized how things were going to change.
Plane, axis and center of symmetry he had them all,
Suddenly same groups started to fall and different groups started to crawl.
Enantiomer, diasteromers and absolute configuration all came at once,
Now his life had no more puns.
One day in his life arrived a new texture,
He proudly boasted I will solve your problems, I am racemic mixture.
Optical purity was tending to zero,
Our lad was once again becoming a hero.
Happily he realized no more light now rotated,
Despairingly he only found a look-alike whom he hated.
The kingdom was now divided but there was no war,
Angrily he exclaimed,"what was all that effort for?"
