Once a stranger..
Once a stranger..
Once a stranger called me beautiful.
I felt like a puppy who had experienced sand
For the first time on the beach
Like a kitten who's discovered sunbath,
From the video, I watched at 4 am
The night before my final exams.
No tears bleeding down my eyes but
Sorrow haunting inside of my chest.
It felt like a gush of wind had blown away my hair
Moist grass under my bare feet.
It sounded like temple bells and
Smelled like sandalwood incense sticks.
I'd say that I felt butterflies but
All I felt was an urge to cry.
I felt like a lost child
Who's finally found his mother.
I felt like Cinderella
When the glass shoe fitted her.
I felt like a lot of people and yet
I felt so different from the rest of them
I felt like being alive for the first time
When a stranger called me beautiful.
