Of Beginnings And Ends

Of Beginnings And Ends

As these words fall into existence,

A certain end is decided too,

Even with every instinct of persistence,

The promise of death will come through...

Life and Death enclosed within a sole seed,

Blooming to become a flower of creation,

In generosity, the beginnings of greed,

Within Hope, the birth of desperation...

It's not a hidden knowledge that-

Light glows it's brightest,

When immersed within the endless dark,

There could never be a highest,

Without setting up the lowest mark...

What really be the value of strong,

If there wasn't a weak behind it...

Everything that takes a form,

Has an opposite that truly defines it.

And when you think you've understood the rhythm,

The flow may suddenly break-

The lines may change it's meaning,

Changing everything you expected...

The poet may be lost as well,

Because life is indeed,

a complex mess of simplicity...

The opposites that seem so far apart,

Are the blood beating within the same heart.

In existence, nothingness thrives,

The ugly shows it's face in beauty,

And within the ugliest, the beauty resides

And suddenly mere words lose all it's meaning,

For what darkness is to you, may be my Light...

The endless cycle of nature,

Where something was created within nothingness,

The opposites collided together,

To create a single entity,

So simple, yet so hard to see...

The process of destruction and creation,

Beginnings and ends,

And with an abrupt stop-

The poetry begins...
