Ocean In The Desert

I was strolling in the past 

Like a wanderer searching for an escape.

And you drove into my life

Bringing me back into reality.

She became the oxygen for my life

Taking her away is like stopping my breath

I think my past was cursing me for not meeting her so long,

But now even my sinned life was felt like a gift.

Her tiny drops of love acted like an elixir

And brought back my life making me immortal.

For many light years, you've been travelling 

Dear time, why don't you take some rest.

Dear World, I've been chasing you all my life

Now, I request you to keep your distance from us.

Even conquering you(world) sounds less to me

When compared with the happiness that is bestowed by her love.

I forgave this cruel world

Just because at least now it brought her into my little world.

It's as if like the desert has suddenly transformed

Into an ocean, my heart is drenching in her love.
