No Showoff

There were fights,

Which made us insomniac, 

There were moments,

Which made us lunatic, 

When the midlife crisis attacked,

We handled it graciously, 

When financial problems occurred,

Your intelligence saved us, 

I still wonder about monogamy,

Like Seasons and rivers, 

We existed as nature, 

People started feeling jealous,

Our chemistry lasted for a lifetime,

Is it love,

Which forms old age romance,

Or the freedom,

Which gets more closer, 

Is it loneliness,

Which makes us inseparable,

Or we became each other's solitude,

When you take rest on my shoulder,

I still feel the pride to be your support,

Even though wrinkles on our hands joke about our joyful moments,

Because nothing we have done to show-off.
