Abstract Children Stories Others

Nighttime

Nighttime

Hair brushing over the face

In the cool breeze flowing by,

The serenity of the night convinces

That nature says no lie.

The glimmering reflection of the moon

Spreading a calm aura of peace,

The eyes that behold such a scenery

Can’t look away from the masterpiece.

The soft hooting of the owl

Curled up in a nearby tree

Soothes the mind and lets unfurl

Wings of imagination free.

The majestic swan that paddles in the lake

In the breathtaking hues of blue,

The blooming lilies in the moonlight,

The glistening leaves’ dew...

Oh! How I wish I could forever gaze

Into the lucid starry sky.

The aesthetic beauty of nature at night

Not even the gods can defy.
