Nature’s Palette

In the beginning, there was white

Colors merged together in the light.

The sun dressed in his chosen yellow

For he was a happy and a gay fellow.

The ocean reflected his favorite hue

He kept all the colors except for blue.

The trees absorbed all, but the green

They wanted to keep the air clean.

Land took the rich ochre and umber

Perfect place for the seeds to slumber.

Thus, emerged from the white light

Nature’s palette, such a grand sight.
