My Youth
My Youth
Everyone says the same things time and again
I ran back in the haste to feel the same things and learn to be a child again
Don't waste your youth growing up
Be reckless we are the wild youth
Seeing, remembering the wasted times
My songs, my games,
My feels, my friends, my dreams, my dresses, my stories, my sayings
My nights, my days, my life, my ways
All turned down to a single-phase " you have grown up now"
Started leaning on nights, prepared for the things never got to taste
What we never learn
"Youth has no age"
Maybe today is the oldest I've ever been and youngest I'll ever be again
I'll roam around, I'll surf with the highest tides where they'll take me away
My voice got rights, my mind got nice, my heart wants the peace,
My soul still resonates with stars like my inner child always wants to laugh, she still wants to live a life
So,
I'll always be dreaming in this way
I'll always hold the power to say" This is not How my story will end "
I promised me today I'll never let them take my youth away.
