My Wish
My Wish
If I could have my wish, from the world I’d take the pain away,
I’d bring cheer to everyone’s heart, to illuminate the day.
I have seen a baby suffer, and yell his heart out in pain?
So much of senseless affliction, and nothing to gain!
I’d wipe out disease, and sickness, from the face of the earth.
I’d instill a sense of dignity to men, for their intrinsic worth.
I wish there were no one, because of poverty without food.
I wish one wouldn’t separate a mother dog, from her brood.
She grieves and cries silently, and pines for her offspring,
We butcher living creatures, for gratification they bring
Imagine the suffering of the animals when we use the knife,
I wish I could free them of the curse, to have a freer life.
The greed and hate which rocks the world, I would obliterate.
I wish we could revert back, to our aseptic natural state.
