My Will. I Will
My Will. I Will
It is not that I haven't erred
Some decisions still cause me pain
But with each folly I've learned
And in that, I've found my gain
I shall correct my course
And guard myself from fearing falls
Consuming every resource
To resist my mind's defeatist calls
The world will habitually opine
But I know I am on my own
I'm destined to out live it's whine
And grow only what I've sown
I shall not hold myself still
Even as life goes a little awry
I'll rebuild it with my will
Rather than be forever sorry
I'll usher in the winds of change
That will softly blow away the strife
And I will slowly but surely rearrange
A brick at a time, my entire life.
