Before I even thought of
Having you in my life
And before I could even ask for
I heard your voice....
From that moment what I just longed
Was to confirm your presence
I kept praying and hoping all day long
And finally my prayers were heard....
Every stage of your formation
Every breath you took
I could feel you within me
Grow every nook....
Days kept getting long and nights short
Many storms and disasters came along
But having you within me
Made me sail strong....
As the day neared for your arrival
And things were not easy for us
I asked God for a favour
To let us live together....
Next moment when I regained consciousness
And goo
d wishes came pouring in
All that I ever longed for
Was you to see ....
The rising sun brought a new ray of hope
Chirping of bird's singing a song of welcome
As I held you first time in my arms
Words were falling short to express this eternal bond....
As you kept growing
From new born to a toddler
From the time you first clutched my finger
To the first word you spoke.....
I'm thankful to God for this beautiful gift
Only a mother knows what motherhood means
Even a slightest scratch or a screech on you
A mother feels the pain that cannot be expressed....
Am blessed to have a Son like you
My life revolves around you
And till life is through
It will always do....
