My Shadow

I had a friend who stays at day and disappears at night

When I walk on the street he comes along with me following my feet.

He does the same as what I do and he is my look alike.

He always shows up in the bright but without color in his life.

He walks all the way holding onto my feet and I never felt alone.

He is all over the day along with me until I reach my home.

But when the day is gone he leaves me alone and the darkness comes in.

He was the one who holds me back and never let me go.

He again comes the next day it’s none other than my shadow!!
